For an entertainer as popular and gay as Elton John, his music doesn’t necessarily reflect it to the degree that we’d think. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but at some point in his catalog of hits you’d see something over the top flamboyant like his 1970s stage costumes. Only one of his songs appears on the list of Top 50 Gayest Songs Ever, his duet with George Michael singing “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.” And it came at No. 50! Two gay guys singing anything together is gay, so that one is a no-brainer. Sure, his album “Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy” album is gay based on the title alone, but let’s pick individual songs.
